Do i need a dropped kerb ?
If you intend to drive a vehicle over the footway into your driveway, which is off a highway, then you will need a dropped kerb. If you do not have dropped kerbs, you must not drive over the footpath. If doing so, you are technically braking the law, therefore placing yourself as risk of having enforcement action taken against you to prevent such practice.
Furthermore, you also run the risk of being made liable for any damage to the surface or sub formation of the footpath, or any utility services damaged as a result of such action.
